About

Full Spectrum Birthworker

Birthwork is Lifework

Your birth, your way

Knowledge is power and I want you to have all of it! Here, you'll get support learning more about preparing for your birth. We'll review the anatomy and mechanics of pregnancy, birth and postpartum, as needed.

Together we'll develop a tailored birth preparation plan that covers all the aspects of the process, from pregnancy to postpartum care that you need to know about. There's lots to consider but together we'll cut through the noise and get to the part that's most important to you!

This is your experience, and I'm here to witness you, reflect your innate wisdom and support you to advocate for yourself. From start to finish. Let's get clarity on your goals and vision and make a plan to support that.

Calling in the village

No matter how you complete your pregnancy, I am here to support you and how you wish this transition to be witnessed and honored.

With you, the whole way. I offer emotional, physical and informational care, alongside your community. We will hold you as you move through this experience, on your own terms.

I'll be on call and available for you to check in and process with throughout. If you'd like me to remain on the line, or if you'd rather check in periodically or at your discretion, I am available. We'll get to know each other, share resources and move through this milestone together.

Building Community

Postpartum is too often an afterthought, but I believe it's central to creating a supportive birth plan and empowered pregnancy conclusion. In my own and many other Indigenous communities, 40 days of rest are encouraged to recover from significant shifts and life transitions.

In this offering, we prepare for postpartum guided by ancestral recommendations to use this time for rest and recovery from the experience of pregnancy and its conclusion, as well as integrating a new normal after the shift and transition. There's a lot to navigate. I can help as we discuss how to ensure you're supported and create a plan.

These are the foundational steps in your parenting journey and you deserve to be held in loving hands and community.
