Everyone deserves support and guidance during their pregnancy (or any other life or reproductive milestone). Becoming a parent, first time or otherwise, can be as thrilling as it is nerve wracking. You can easily get lost in the rabbit hole that is Google and wind up even more confused or stressed than you were to begin with.
Having someone to walk alongside you in this experience who can hold space for you as you process as well as guide you to evidence based resources and support is invaluable and that's where I SHINE!
Perhaps the idea of doula support appeals to you but you don’t actually want anyone else in the room or a doula is inaccessible to you due to finances or location. As a virtual doula I can provide the same emotional and informational support to families anywhere and everywhere through virtual meetings, emails and on call phone & chat support.

I claimed the role of birthworker as a three year old, when my mother came home with my sister and I insisted on bringing her tea. It was as obvious then as now that support is vital. Before I ever took any trainings, I was living this work, supporting friends, fellow parents and eventually clients.
Every parent deserves support and an experience of their reproductive & life milestones that centers their own desires, lived experience and vision. Every one of these deserves reverence and grounded presence.
I offer inclusive, harm-reductionist, trauma-informed, radically loving care and welcome people of all identities and family structures . I center Black, Queer, larger bodied and disabled birthing people in my practice, recognizing the added challenges of navigating the birth and postpartum space specifically and the world in general when one holds multiple marginalized identities and positionalities.

On Call
24/7 "on call" availability (phone or video) beginning at 37 weeks until whenever your labor begins and beyond!
Prenatal Care
Prenatal meetings occur via phone or video. We will discover your birth goals, practice comfort measures, discuss common interventions and procedures plus answer any questions you have about birth, postpartum, babies and parenting etc.
Continuous Support
We'll create a comprehensive plan for the time we're working together, using all that tech allows, to share information and stay connected as you move through your experience. I'm available via email, zoom, chat and phone.
Resources
Acess to a plethora of resources and recommendations for realiable sources and skill practioners in caring for and supporting birthing people and families.
Planning
Assistance and/or guidance (as needed) in visioning and creating an informative, flexible and useful birth and postpartum plans so all your support team including loved ones, are clear on your vision, needs, wants and boundaries.
Postpartum & Lactation
Postpartum support may just be the most important aspect of care that you receive in this experience. It's something I center throughout your care and am honored to offer alongside lactation and baby feeding.
